While you can transfer the Active/Inactive status from SAP SuccessFactors to Qualtrics, this status is only transferred as metadata and will not impact the user’s account within Qualtrics.

Additionally, when a user is purged from SAP SuccessFactors, they disappear from the integration, meaning you lose the ability to track the status of their Qualtrics account.

The tasks check the user status in SuccessFactors based on the integration input and update the following in the Qualtrics directory:

  • Enables the account in Qualtrics if the user status is Active in SuccessFactors.

  • Disables the account in Qualtrics if the user status is Inactive in SuccessFactors

  • Anonymizes, deletes, or extends the account in Qualtrics if the account in SuccessFactors has been purged.

The anonymize, delete, and extension task can either run in a fully automated mode or in a setup where approvals for each identified account are managed individually via email.
